Tappr was proud to be part of TechThreads 2025, a first-of-its-kind event hosted by Delogue in Copenhagen on May 15.
Held in the stunning setting of a historic palace, the event brought together leaders from fashion, tech, government, and sustainability to explore how digital solutions can help move the industry forward.
Our team members Jessica and Delia were there representing Tappr. We took the stage as a partner, shared what we’ve been building, and listened to what the rest of the industry is talking about.
The event welcomed attendees from well-known Danish fashion brands such as Lollys Laundry, NN.07, and Samsøe Samsøe, alongside representatives from Dansk Erhverv, ESG consultants, and sustainability professionals.
Here were the common themes we heard throughout the day.

Talking Point #1: Everyone is struggling with fragmented data
One of the most consistent messages was the widespread struggle with managing product and sustainability data.
Everyone agrees: data is a problem.
It’s everywhere, but nowhere.
While most companies have data, it's often scattered across platforms, spreadsheets, and siloed teams. This fragmentation is widely seen as a core barrier to progress.
Despite the challenges, there was a sense of optimism. Attendees discussed how new technologies, including AI, offer the potential to unify data and enhance decision-making.
Interoperability emerged as a recurring theme — systems must be able to connect and work together in order to unlock the full value of the data they hold.
Talking Point #2: Regulation Is Unclear but the Direction Is Not
No, it’s not just you. Regulatory uncertainty is affecting everyone.
Whether it's navigating EU legislation like ESPR or aligning with voluntary ESG goals, everyone’s feeling the pressure but no one has the answers.
Many
participants spoke about the burden of new sustainability regulations and the lack of clarity around what will be required. This uncertainty is creating hesitation. But it is also pushing brands to improve their systems and data quality.
The specifics may still be changing, but the direction is clear.
The goal is greater transparency and traceability. Brands that invest now in collecting sustainability data and improving product accuracy will be better prepared for what comes next.
Talking Point #3: True collaboration requires shared data
Outdated tools like spreadsheets are still common, limiting how teams work together and how brands connect with partners.
True collaboration requires systems that support shared visibility and workflow, both within companies and between partners.
Speakers emphasized the need for platforms that support real-time collaboration. Just as important, these platforms must be able to connect with others. This brings us back to the recurring theme of interoperability.

What is Delogue PLM?
Delogue, the host of TechThreads, is the creator of Delogue PLM, a cloud-based product lifecycle management platform designed specifically for fashion and apparel companies.
PLM software helps teams manage and organize product data from design through to production. Delogue PLM works with brands like Mads Nørgaard Copenhagen, Magasin, SKALL Studio, HUMMEL, JBS, and Konges Sløjd.
Developed by professionals from the fashion industry, the platform supports businesses of all sizes and is built to scale as they grow. The overall outcome? Improved collaboration, streamlined workflows, and compliance with evolving standards.
Other cool sustainable fashion solutions we spotted at TechThreads
Beyond our own takeaways, we spent time exploring other solutions at the event that are helping fashion brands tackle challenges like sustainability, inventory management, and wholesale collaboration.
Here are a few that stood out.
bAwear Score has built a platform that helps textile and apparel companies run product-level environmental impact assessments, quickly and without needing an in-house LCA expert. It’s designed to help brands get a handle on things like CSRD and PEFCR compliance, and it comes with built-in guidance to make the results actually usable. It's a practical tool for a space that usually feels too complex or too expensive to tackle.
Madden Analytics is focused on making inventory planning a lot less manual. Their platform uses AI to forecast demand across multiple channels and supply chain needs, while keeping humans in control of key decisions. Several well-known Nordic fashion names are already using it to reduce overstock, avoid stock-outs, and make better buying plans.
Fashion Cloud is building a central platform for brands and retailers to work together more efficiently. They’re helping with things like product data sharing, smarter reorders, and streamlining how wholesale partners collaborate. With thousands of users already on board, it’s becoming a bit of a hub for modernizing the wholesale process.
Hakio is a planning platform made for the fashion world. It uses internal data to help brands get a handle on their stock, whether products are sold online, in stores, or through wholesale. This is especially effective for brands balancing never-out-of-stock items with seasonal collections.
Coming up: Digital Product Passports technology
TechThreads was a refreshing reminder that fashion tech doesn’t have to be stuck in the past. The tools exist, the will is there, and events like this prove that when we come together, we move faster.
Tappr was proud to take part and share what we’re building.
