Digital Product Passports for bikes
Give every bike a passport that carries its specs, service history, battery data and ownership in one scan, in your brand’s own style, on the frame for life. The Battery Regulation brings the battery passport to e-bikes from 18 February 2027.
A passport that stays on the frame for life
A Digital Product Passport for bikes is built from the product data in your ERP and PLM and the battery and component data Trace collects from suppliers. It stays on the frame for life: registration, warranty, service history and ownership in one scan. From 18 February 2027 the e-bike battery carries its own digital battery passport behind the same code, under the EU Battery Regulation.
Which rules hit your bikes collection, and when

The battery and supplier data you collect for 2027 becomes your full bike passport when ESPR reaches the category.
