A passport for every pair, from first wear onwards.

Make materials, care and customer services accessible from the shoe itself. Tappr connects your product data and supplier evidence in a branded Digital Product Passport that stays useful through wear, repair and resale.

FILA put the passport on the sneaker.

FILA used factory-applied NFC tags to connect sneakers to their Digital Product Passports. A tap opened materials, care and authenticity information in a branded experience on the shoe itself.

“Tappr allows us to deliver product-level transparency at scale, without disrupting the processes our teams already rely on.”

FILA

Useful through every stage of wear.

01

Help customers understand the pair

Show what goes into the upper, lining and sole, alongside the features and material information for the model they are holding. Give customers access to the product details your team has approved for publication.

02

Put the right care advice within reach

Different materials need different care. Make cleaning, drying and maintenance guidance easy to find for that shoe, helping customers look after leather, suede, textiles and technical components correctly.

03

Support repair and the next owner

Connect customers to the repairs, replacement parts, resale or take-back services you offer. Product information remains available when a pair changes hands, with ownership transfer available where enabled.

Build confidence in the pair, wherever it is sold.

Give customers a way to reach your brand from the product, whether they bought through your own shop, a retailer or a reseller.

Where authentication is part of your programme, connect the passport to the item’s identity and the agreed verification process. Customers can access that experience alongside product information, registration and the services you offer.

Your team manages the content in your brand, on your domain, and can update it after the shoes have shipped.

Keep the information behind each shoe connected.

An upper, lining, footbed and outsole can involve different materials and suppliers. Bring the product specifications and supporting evidence together so your team can see what is known and what still needs checking.

Brand Cloud Start with the product data you already manage

Brand Cloud connects models, size and colour variants, materials and care information from your ERP, PLM or PIM. Keep the passport linked to the appropriate product record as collections change.

Trace Collect the evidence your suppliers hold

Trace requests supplier information, declarations and supporting documents linked to your products and orders. Suppliers respond through a link, and your team reviews the evidence before approving it for use.

Passport Builder Publish across your collection

Passport Builder combines your branding with each product’s information. Adapt content across collections, languages and markets, then publish updates without replacing the code or tag already on the shoe.

Make your product claims easier to review.

Keep material specifications, origin information and certificates connected to the products they support. Your team can review the evidence behind a claim, identify missing information and decide what is ready to publish.

Use that organised information across customer passports, product disclosures and retailer requests as your products and requirements change.

Questions before you start

See plans and pricing →

Do customers need an app?
No. A supported phone opens the passport in its browser from a QR code or NFC tag. Customers can view public product information before choosing to register for services that need owner details.
Does every QR code or NFC tag prove authenticity?
Authentication depends on the identity, carrier and verification process used. A standard code that opens a product page is not, by itself, proof that the physical item is genuine. We agree the appropriate setup for your authentication programme.
Where does the passport go on the shoe?
Options include a QR code on a tongue label or sockliner, or an NFC tag incorporated into the product. The location and carrier need to suit the shoe’s construction and expected wear. We work through that with your production and labelling partners.
Can we start with one collection or model?
Yes. Start with a defined range, map the product information and supplier inputs, and agree how the identifier reaches the shoe. Expand once the data and production workflow are established.
What happens when the shoes are resold?
Public materials, care and product information remain accessible. Where ownership transfer is enabled, the registered owner can transfer the item to its next owner. Any warranty or other entitlement follows your brand’s terms.
Can one team manage several brands and markets?
Yes. Each brand can retain its own design and domain, with content adapted across products, languages and markets. Authentication, supplier workflows, integrations and customer services are scoped with your plan.
