Electronics passport questions, answered

Does a Tappr passport meet the EU’s ESPR requirements for electronics?
Electronics is not in the first wave of ESPR passport categories, its delegated acts come later in the working plan, so no vendor can claim final compliance today. What a passport does now is carry the repair information, spare-parts data and product documentation that the Right to Repair Directive and ecodesign rules already require, on standards the future acts will draw on, so the data you structure today becomes your passport data later rather than being rebuilt.
What product data do I need before I can launch?
Less than you’d think to start: your product master data, model, specs, manuals and origin, which usually lives in your ERP, PIM or a spreadsheet. Richer fields like supply-chain evidence and component data come after launch, collected from your suppliers through Trace, so you go live on what you have and deepen the passport over time.
How does the passport get onto the device?
As a QR code on the device label, packaging or laser engraving, or an NFC tag. Codes follow GS1 Digital Link, and label printing runs through your existing workflow: Tappr’s in-plant printing works with NiceLabel and BarTender.
Can I run several brands from one account?
