Keep your gear connected to the people who use it.

Make setup, registration, care and support accessible from the product itself. Tappr gives sports and outdoor brands a Digital Product Passport that stays useful from first use to repair, resale and the next owner.

North brings the rider relationship onto the product.

North connects product registration, Club North, manuals and Lost & Found through its product passports. The invitation reaches riders through the gear they already own, including products bought through dealers.

01

Help customers get started

Put setup guides, product specifications and care instructions within reach. From assembling a foil to pitching a tent, customers can find the guidance for the equipment they have in front of them.

02

Give owners a reason to register

Connect registration to something useful: warranty services, member benefits or support for their product. Make it part of the experience customers open from the gear itself.

03

Keep equipment in use

Make maintenance advice, repair guidance and spare-part information easy to find. Connect customers to the services you offer, with the model and product details they need to get the right help.

04

Give lost gear a way back

With Lost & Found enabled, a finder can scan the product and contact its registered owner through the recovery service. Give customers a practical reason to keep their ownership details up to date.

A sports equipment passport on a phone

Keep the connection through the next season and the next owner.

Care advice, manuals and product information remain available after the original purchase. Add repair, refurbishment or resale services as your programme develops, and enable ownership transfer so the next owner can access the passport too.

Your brand stays present through useful support. Your team can update the experience without replacing the code already on the product.

Questions before you start

See plans and pricing →

Do customers need an app?
No. A supported phone can open the passport in its browser from a QR code or NFC tag. Registration is available when customers choose to use services that require an owner account or contact details.
Can the label or tag handle water and wear?
The carrier needs to suit the product. Woven labels, embedded NFC tags and durable markings offer different options. Choose and test the placement and materials for the equipment’s expected use, including water, abrasion or washing where relevant.
Can we use our existing dealers and production partners?
Yes. The passport can support products sold through your existing channels. We work with your team to establish how the identifier reaches the product during production and how customers access the services you offer.
What happens when the equipment is sold on?
Public product information remains accessible. Where ownership transfer is enabled, the registered owner can transfer the product to its next owner. Warranty eligibility follows your brand’s terms.
Can we run several brands on one platform?
Yes. Each brand can retain its own design and domain, with content adapted across products, languages and markets.
Are registration, warranty and Lost & Found included?
Customer services, supplier workflows and integrations are scoped with your plan and selected modules. Start with the services relevant to your products and expand as your programme grows.
