Scan a live passport on your own phone

The quickest way to understand a Digital Product Passport is to scan one. Open a finished passport, then see how the three products behind it collect the data, verify the supply chain and publish at scale. Nothing to fill in.

How it works

Three steps from raw product data to a published Digital Product Passport.

01

Collect · Brand Cloud

Product data from your ERP, PLM and PIM lands in one validated record per product, with the GS1 digital ID that prints on the label.

02

Verify · Trace

Suppliers fill in their own data from invitations that cascade to tier 4, certificate fields are extracted for review, and your team approves.

03

Publish · Passport Builder

One template per collection, thousands of passports, on your brand and your domain: the page the customer sees when they scan.

No new team needed: passports generate from data you already have, suppliers are chased by Trace instead of your inbox, and labels print in the workflow you already run.

Tour questions, answered

How does traceability work with a Digital Product Passport?
Trace collects supplier evidence per product: origin, process steps and certificates, tier by tier. Once approved, that chain flows into Brand Cloud and into the passport, so what a customer or auditor reads is the same data your suppliers submitted.
What is a GS1 Digital Link?
An open GS1 standard that puts your product identifier (GTIN) into a web address inside the QR code. One code resolves to the passport, and because the standard is open, the identifiers stay yours if you ever leave. Tappr is a GS1 member.
What data goes into a Digital Product Passport?
Today: product attributes, materials, care instructions, certificates, origin, and repair or resale options, on your brand. Regulation-specific blocks are added as each rule lands; the ESPR textile fields will be defined in the delegated act targeted for 2027.
When does ESPR become mandatory?
ESPR is in force, but the rules for what a textile passport must contain come in a delegated act the Commission targets for 2027, with application dates set in the product-specific rules that follow it. Loi AGEC in France and EUDR (30 December 2026 for large and medium operators) apply earlier. Read the rule →
How long does it take to go live with Tappr?
First passports go live in weeks from the product data you already have. Full coverage is a rollout: Studio Anneloes started with one collection and reached 85% of the collection, deepening the passports as supplier data arrived.
Do I need a GS1 membership?
If your products already carry GTINs, no. If they do not, a GS1 company prefix is how GTINs are issued, and Tappr guides you through it.
What does a Digital Product Passport look like?
A branded product page on the phone, opened from the QR code or NFC tag on the item: composition, origin, care, certificates, registration and services. Scan any of the six live passports above to see one; no form, no signup.
